Hitachi Power Europe has a lengthy and extensive track record in energy plant engineering & construction not only in Germany but in the rest of the world. Our own construction teams concern themselves with planning, engineering, monitoring work on the project sites as well as controlling logistics and personnel requirements. They also undertake permanent controlling and ensure that all components are placed into service without a hitch. This extends from basic engineering through to establishing the budget and project site surveillance.
Hitachi Power Europe not only, for instance, supplies its own components and replacement parts for coal mills and burner technology, but it also services the plants. The company's skills and expertise in the upkeep and maintenance of power plant components are combined in its service division.
In contrast to most other companies in the power plant field, Hitachi Power Europe GmbH has its own production facilities for the major components. These include pressure parts for utility steam generators, headers, coal mills and burners, conveying equipment and steel structures. These resources make Hitachi Power Europe independent of sub-contractors to a considerable extent.
