Hitachi Power Group

Hitachi Power Europe GmbH (HPE) including its subsidiary Hitachi Power Africa Pty Ltd is one of the three Hitachi subsidiaries in energy plant engineering. With Hitachi Power Systems (headquartered in Tokyo) and Hitachi Power Systems America (New Jersey) dealing with the Asian and American power plant markets respectively, HPE is responsible within the Group for the markets in Europe, the former CIS states, Africa and India. HPE is the Center of Competence within the worldwide operating Hitachi Group for the electrification of lignite / anthracite.
